Next Gen Makers are pleased to announce the launch of a new monthly event for members of our Engineering Apprenticeships: Best Practice Programme – Lunch & Learn sessions.
In the spirit of bringing peers together to share ideas, thoughts and experiences, these member led events will now occur every other month, with the first ever Lunch & Learn session having taken place on the final Thursday in October.
Each Lunch & Learn will tackle a specific theme, and in a variation from the format of our popular Webinar series, are discussion based and involve smaller groups of members via Zoom meetings, as opposed to the larger scale Webinar/presentation format. Webinars will continue to take place every other month, meaning Best Practice Programme members can now engage with an event in every month of the year.
The inaugural October Lunch & Learn covered ‘Apprentice Buddying Schemes’, with a vibrant discussion between companies that have recently established and benefited from such as scheme, to companies that were looking to learn from others ahead of implementing one for themselves.
Next Gen Makers are on a mission to help customers bridge skills gaps and build excellent apprenticeship experiences.
Our new Lunch and Learn sessions will feature guests who have some experience in specially chosen micro themes and they will share what they know with members who are looking to improve.
December’s micro theme is ‘Why invest in Leadership and Management Training for Mentors’.
Lunch and Learns will be available every other month from October 2022 onwards, always occurring on the last Thursday of the month between 12-1pm. If you’d like to attend and haven’t yet received an invite, email Lucy@nextgenmakers.co.uk
