SME VS Levy – An SME employer is a small / medium whose wage bills are less than £3 million pounds per annum vs Levy employers who pays wages more than £3 million pounds per annum.

Cost for SME

5% contribution of £11000 19+ or no charge for 16-18 learners (or 19-24 with EHCP).

Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Level 3

£11000 paid from the digital account.

Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship Level 3

£15000 paid from the digital account.

Learner Journey

1. Attend pre-interview with Apprenticeship team
2. Apply for apprenticeship vacancies via gov.uk/ apprenticeship team
3. Attend interview(s) with employer(s)
4. Once successful, you would start working within the workplace
5. You will be signed up in the workplace, within the first
week of employment
6. Your dedicated assessor will visit you within the
workplace once every 6-8 weeks to set work and carry
out various assessments
7. Showcase Portfolio for End Point Assessment
8. The End point assessment will consist of a Portfolio,
A Project, an Employer Reference and a Structured
Interview with an assessor
9. Apprenticeship completion

Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Level 3

The primary role of a digital marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention.

You would gain the following knowledge, skills & behaviours within the following areas:

Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship Level 3

An Infrastructure Technician provides support to internal and external customers, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and trouble shoot non-routine problems.

You would gain the following knowledge, skills & behaviours within the following areas:

  • Maintenance

  • Operating Systems

  • Binary

  • Coding

  • Data

  • Recovery

Employer Responsibilities

An Apprentice is a full-time member of staff that is employed on behalf of your organisation. Employers must pay the apprentices wages and employee them to work in the role that was advertised for the apprenticeship. Apprentices have the same rights as current employees, including sick leave, annual leave and any extra benefits your organisation provides to all current staff.
